Jennifer Hoare is a Registered Dietitian and Pilates Instructor who has a number of chronic conditions including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, POTS and Endometriosis.

ABOUT

Hi, I’m Jennifer, a UK registered Dietitian and STOTT PILATES® certified Instructor. Like many of my fellow zebra’s, I live with a number of chronic disorders. I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, POTS, dysautonomia, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and I’ve had surgeries for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. After I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, everything fell into place as to why I felt like I did and why I was in so much pain. I became focused on researching and finding out what I could do to help myself and make myself feel better.

 

I’m lucky, as a dietitian and pilates instructor, I had the skills to help myself and with help from a team of professionals, I’m feeling better than I have in a long time. 

 

It’s not too much to ask for a better quality of life, one with reduced pain, less fatigue, better sleep, improved movement and a chance to enjoy living life with the people you love. We all deserve to feel better.

 

I can help you to:

  • Build a nutritionally adequate diet 

  • Optimise your diet to reduce chronic pain and fatigue

  • Get relief from symptoms such as stomach ache, IBS, acid reflux, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea and nausea

  • Develop a positive relationship with food

  • Define realistic goals

Pilates Online with Jennifer Hoare

ATTEND AN ONLINE PILATES CLASS

Online classes are delivered via zoom every Saturday at 9.30am. These classes use a range of equipment to challenge you and keep the class fun and varied.  You can either book on a pay as you go basis or purchase a class pass providing a 20% discount. Classes are taught by Jennifer Hoare and covered by Jo Penny.

Pilates in the Workplace, offered in Oxfordshire

PILATES IN THE WORKPLACE

Pilates in the workplace is a great way to improve staff wellbeing.


Pilates at work provides staff with a much needed break, incorporates exercise into their day and these pilates classes also use mindful movement and breathing, all useful in reducing and managing stress.


These classes are designed for mixed abilities with adaptations for injuries and conditions.


The benefits of Pilates are:

  • Improved flexibility and coordination 

  • Increased strength 

  • Improved posture 

  • Increased energy levels 

  • Improved concentration 

  • Stress management and relaxation
